This arrangement of Randhartinger's offertory "Ad te levavi" for mezzo-soprano and viola solo, accompanied by a string quartet, was written in 1875 by Roman Zäch (no biographic data could be found). The only source of this arrangement is located in the archives of the Augustinian Monastery in Vienna.

The composer, Benedict Randhartinger (1802-1893), a student of Salieri, was also a tenor soloist and Viennese Hofkapellmeister.
